HOW DO I PROPERLY MOUNT SELF ADHESIVE CORK SHEET?

Place the sheet where it should go, remove the protective layer, and push it down firmly. Don’t forget to press evenly, especially near the corners and sides.

Only apply on surfaces that are smooth, even, clean, and dust-free – like i.e. plasterboard.
Let the cork board sheets rest in the installation space for 72 hours. Since cork is natural, it adjusts to temperature and humidity – this step prevents issues like shrinking or poor adhesion.

CAN I USE THEM ON UNEVEN OR TEXTURED WALLS?

We don't recommend it. Uneven or slightly textured surfaces may cause the cork to come loose. The adhesive is meant for flat, smooth, dry, and clean areas only.

DOES THE ADHESIVE REALLY STICK WELL?

Yes – the sticky side is strong enough to keep the cork panels firmly in place, as long as the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust. There’s no need for extra glue.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CUT FINE GRAIN SELF ADHESIVE CORK BOARD SHEETS?

Yes, you can cut fine-grain cork without any problem. Just make sure you're using a proper cutting knife for neat edges.

WHAT’S MORE PRACTICAL – ROLLED CORK OR SELF-ADHESIVE SHEETS?

When working on a large area, rolled cork makes more sense – it covers more space with fewer joints. But for smaller-scale tasks, cork sheets do the trick and are easier to handle.
